If Johnny leaves I think the Flames double down on focusing on Tkachuk as the central figure on this team and they build around him. All assuming he wants to stay long-term. Which is clarity they need to get this summer.

While I am just fine with that happening, I also don’t want Tkachuk struggling out the gate and now we are stuck with a long term contract and it actually turned out that Johnny was the reason Tkachuk hit 100 points. We will have to rely on Mangiapane to be a first line winger if that’s the case.
