I've come to the realization Johnny is going to sign before the draft.

If the rumours of $9.5M x 8 years are true, a team not called Calgary is going to have to offer $10.85 x 7 years to match. He's not getting that unless he wants to go to Ottawa. Jersey won't cough up that kind of cash for a small player.
