I'm expecting he signs, and he signs for less money than he could have asked and with the expectation that the money left on the table will be used to build team quality. Nothing has ever given me the impression that Johnny is about chasing the dollars. Johnny has always seemed like a guy who cares about more intrinsic goals and values than the number on his bank account. I doubt he makes it all about the money at this point.
