How are you putting them in?
My method:
1. Place left contact lens on index finger of left hand.
2. Using middle finger of right hand, stretch left upper eyelid up.
3. Using middle finger of left hand, stretch left lower eyelid down.
4. Place lens in.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 with opposite hands for each step with right lens.

Really? You switch hands? Odd, I use my right hand for putting them in both eyes.
Only problem I ever have had with my contacts is that they get tricky when I'm around pets (allergic). They begin to stick the the inside of my upper eyelids, and then they move around and oh the agony of bubble vision.
