It's so funny that we treat people like people, but as soon as they step into their vehicles they're filthy savages and our mortal enemies, depending on their driving style.

Nope, still a person, just operating a car.

When you think of how lucky we are to even have these things to take us from a to b in such a short time frame, you realize then how ridiculous it is to pick fueds with other operators (sometimes even a nervous mom just getting her kids to school) that put both your lives in danger just because they drive a different way (e.g. 5km slower than you would) or "did something" they may not have even been aware that they did.

That we're so touchy and defensive on the road vs off of it seems like an irrational human problem that probably needs to be addressed by the individual. Also the inherent need for some to drive as fast as possible on any stretch of road. Might be worth sorting out.
