How can the posted speed be ambiguous? It says it on the sign. It’s… posted… there’s nothing really ambiguous about it.

There are also situations like driving 45 in a school zone or 65 on a small residential street that are far, far, far more dangerous than doing 15/35 (plus the either of the former just makes you an #######).
