The problem with this sentence is that for a lot of people in the province today, things are as good now as they've ever been for the past ~7 years. I realise that the UCP didn't actually put the oil in the ground, but let's not kid ourselves, people looking at a solid provincial economy aren't likely coming around to the "destruction of the province" view.
And if you're on the fence with that, wait until you see how much gets paid in royalties to the provincial government. It's not just good in comparison to where we were a few years ago, it's an enormous amount of money.

This is where I am, but I feel similarly about the NDP. I'll be voting for someone, but no idea who that will be.
