Any comments or suggestions from anyone who has travelled there before? Thanks!

I’ve taken planes, trains and automobiles while in Portugal. I’ve taken the train from Lisbon to Faro, the bus from faro into Spain and had a driving holiday from Lisbon to the Algarve, to the interior, to Galicia and Porto. The roads are amazing….double motorways throughout. Portuguese drivers are a bit aggressive but no worse than in Italy.

Rent a car one way and you’ll enjoy the drive. Take a bus like the locals. Enjoy the country.
