If he's available at our pick (very likely not), D Calle Odelius would be a great pick. He's a really good all-around player, and was 6th in D scoring for the J20. 6 feet tall, and a great skater, and transitional player. The latter part of his season was a bit disappointing though, at least offensively, as he only had 2 pts in 6 playoff games, and 3 points in 6 U18 games-but many scouts still think his floor is as a 2nd pairing guy.

Christian Kyrou, Jordan's little bro, would be a decent pick as well. He's a 5'11" defenseman who put up 60 points in 67 games for the Erie Otters-32 points ahead of the nearest D on his team. He's got a lot of work to do on his own zone play, but his offense is super dynamic.

Then there's the possibility of D Elias Salomonsson, but he's likely gone in the late first, early second.
