I think the Sedin's only get in 1st ballot because of the 2010 / 2011 seasons where they each won an Art Ross and Henrik won the Hart in 2010.
Their career PPG is probably below average for a Hall of Famer, and really low for a 1st ballot hall of famer.
But they had a peak where they were legitimately top 5 players in the NHL, so that probably gives them a bit of a lift.
Still a bit surprising though because from a career perspective I don't see them head and shoulders above guys like Elias, Mogilny (might be the biggest snub at this point), Brind Amour etc.
Really both Mogilny (1032 points in 990 games), and Brind Amour (1184 points, 0.80 PPG same as Sedins, two Selkes and better all around player) probably deserve to go in first.
