I want Johnny to sign but 9.5/8 years is my absolute highest price I would pay and would be much more comfortable with 9. The nice thing I guess if he does walk is the Flames should still have that money to spend to replace him. You can't replace him with one player but maybe you can improve the team still with that money. Maybe a Kadri or Miller if a trade could be worked out
