70's - Pink Floyd (ith Syd Barrett), Led Zep, or The Velvet Underground
80's - U2, Bowie
90's - Really I guess Nirvana would be good in a club setting, and after that the 90's turned into a black hole for music. The Hip int he early 90s would be great.
00's - I wouldn't mind the Killers or Franz Ferdinand (hey give me a break they have some catchy songs)
