I tend to agree with the Reva story being flat or being the victim of flawed execution, probably because this season was only 6 episodes
1) When she told Obi that Anakin was alive and Vader, right at that point for whatever reason the whole backstory and her intent snapped into place. Especially if you paid attention to the very first scene in the series. I mean the likely hood of anyone but Sidious and maybe Tarkin knowing that Anakin was Vader was unlikely.
2) Because they rushed her character, they made her behavior almost un Inquisitor like. We've seen Inquisitors in Rebels, and the other three inquisitors in the series weren't driven by casual brutality and they were business like. Reva was over the top. And I'm not begrudging Moses work, but she came across as a cosplayer playing Inquisitor and there was no nuance to it.
3) Her attack on Vader was kind of silly, she basically saw him pull a ship out of the sky and shred it with the force, and she does the screaming attack. Sith live on guile.
4) They lost a real opportunity in the redemption. Reva was there as a tool to show that Obi-Wan couldn't redeem Vader but could still redeem someone on the ledge between good and evil. She reached her own conclusions. It would have been more powerful and better executed if Obi caught up to Reva as she stood over Luke with her light saber ignited. And Ben was able to talk her into letting go of her hate, and rage and need for vengeance.
