There was a lot of projecting about Reva's conflict. They could have given us an interesting 10 minutes of her growing up, being indoctrinated, trained, etc that might have given us some more backstory to help us relate to who she is. We've never seen Sith/Inquisitor training before on the screen (maybe in the books but I've only read a few) so it would have been cool to see.

To be clear, I didnt 'hate' the Reva storyline, I agree with you, it just felt a bit flat. I didnt find it all that compelling, which it well could have been it just didnt have much in the way of punch.
It felt shoe-horned in.
