I went the same way. Its like a discussion about Economics or murdering Baby Hitler. The outcome isnt necessarily going to be different just by changing one variable.

They spent far too much time showing Reva as a child victim not to give her some kind of redemption arc. It was all overly projected. All just seemed a bit pointless. She never came across as a menacing that. We know she wasn't going to kill Vader, Luke, Leia, or even the Grand Inquisitor. Her role was just to throw a tantrum for six straight episodes and make angry faces. She didn't really fit into the main Obi/Vader narrative, and her own story was predictable and not that interesting.
