Agreed, I don't think we need Maul in a Kenobi story, they handled him incredibly well in TCW and in Rebels where he was more then focused on his revenge against his former master.
Obi and Maul not running into each other for nearly two decades and Maul commenting on how old Obi had become was great. The final duel was beautifully done. The end of Maul was tragic and satisfying.
I expect that if they do a season two its more about Ben helping the underground rail road for the Jedi and Rebels, we'll get more of the Grand Inquisitor and his department with Vader being the menace in the background.
They could if they wanted to add Hett into Canon with a story on Tatooine.
