I just love how Obi went after Vaders chest regulator and it was brutal.

Part of me can imagine the pain that Obi was going through at making his friend suffer again as we heard Vader groaning in pain and struggling to breath.

Ewan completely teared up during his apology, he took ownership of the whole situation. Vaders voice slipping between Hayden's and JEJ's Vader voice illustrated the conflict within, but as the conversation went on, JEJ's voice even in the mixer was more prevalent.

Having Obi apologize and Anakin's simple reply of "I'm not your failure, you didn't kill Anakin, I did" allowed Obi to finally as he said realize his friend was dead and absolve himself of his guilt and self loathing that led him back to being the Obi that he was in the PT.

Did anyone else fist pump when we finally got "Hello there"? I really did though it was just after 2 in the morning.

Its funny. In the end Obi created his own fate and gained a lot of self awareness. Anakin had to have it taught to him, as he was convinced that his hate and rage against Obi was making him strong, and Sidious ever the wise and kindly master revealed that his obsession with Obi-Wan and even the rest of the Jedi made him weak. I loved that bit of Sith Wisdom from the true most powerful Sith Lord in history.

They had a real opportunity to end the series with the whole "Leave the Galaxy in darkness". And they could have. With a new focused and driven Vader stomping out liberty in the galaxy and with the Empire at arguably their most powerful. But instead they focused more on optimism. We can see the type of Leader that Leia is going to become. We see Obi getting closure and seeing a path forward. We see that Luke is safe with people who clearly love him and will die to protect him. Even with Reva we see that to an extent redemption is possible.
