My wife just did Tashkent > Istanbul > LHR > Calgary yesterday, far but not quite Mongolia far! No issues for her at all, smooth sailing, despite transiting through one of the worst airports in the world. Looking at you, London!! To be fair, they've improved quite a bit since I started traveling overseas a lot.
