That money will have to clawed back long before any significant money goes back to the players however. And at no time will it be 20% higher than in 2016 before that occurs.
That does not mean you wont see a few 8 digit deals happening, but they will not be commonplace as you seem to be suggesting.

Completely disagree. The added revenue streams are substantial. They're going to want that going towards the cap in order to project success ahead of the next Canadian deal. Superstar contracts will sky rocket soon.
