Jays have 2nd hardest schedule (we know this) to date (Orioles have the hardest- make sense)

Jays have played 27 games against 'top 10' teams (they themselves are a top 10 team, so against the other 9) and are 14-13 . Now if my math is correct, they are 10-5 against top 10 teams that aren't the Yankees

the remarkable thing is that the Yankees have played 15 games against top 10 teams, and as best I can tell- 12 of those games are against the Jays ! (they have played 3 against the Red Sox)

so the Jays have played 15 games against non Yankee top 10 teams and the Yankees have played 3 games against non Jays top 10 teams

I still think the Yankees are on a different planet, so I'm not pretending this is going to be the great equalizer, I just didn't realize how wide the difference is (mind you the Rays are just outside the top 10 and feels like Yankees have played them alot)

(adding to the conversation, games against 'top 10' teams (currently.. of course subject to change)
Jays 27
Rays 16
Sox 16
Yankees 15
The Jays bats came out incredibly slow this year and if not for pitching they wouldn't be where they are. I don't know if they can catch the Yankees but I'm excited for the rest of the season.
