This topic seems to come up every few years.

I'm surprised at how much difficulty I'm having finding a baby monitor that has audio/video, a receiver unit, but you can also access on a smartphone.

If it can connect through the Google Home that's a nice bonus but not needed.

If it can be a home security camera that'd be a nice bonus but not needed.

Seems like everything is either smartphone only, or you can't use it at all.

We had a Motoroloa one that didn't work well when using your smartphone/computer.
