I just think you haven’t seen good watercolour in person (a picture of a painting doesn’t really do it justice regardless of the medium). I’m not an art aficionado, but honestly some watercolour is incredible.
The other thing is the idea that “anyone can do that” when it comes to art. In my younger, less considered days, I used to think things like that. But one day I realized that maybe anyone
could do that, but that person actually did it.
