Depends on how you define game's best player. He is great offensive player, I'll give him that, but "best player" IMHO, should be able to play 200 ft game.

It's funny you use the word "forced", MacKinnon able to play defense first game, and McDavid couldn't. This alone prove that McDavid isn't the game's best player.

Again, it's funny you have to specify the bold part. I mean, it's ok to admit you are their fan, don't have to pretend. Yes, McDavid is in offense, but not the game. Sidney Crosby on the other hand understand the game, and plays the game the correct way, he, not McDavid is the best player in the game.
