These are easily remedied errors that are super annoying to me.

Yeah, I do get what you're saying, especially when the Star Wars guides, list them as the elite assault troops of the Imperial Military, and by assault they weren't taught to take cover and even care that much about aim. They were the zerg rush of the empire firing from the hips and flooding the area with blaster bolts.

They're not like Clone Troopers who were exceptionally well trained soldiers. For the most part Storm Troopers were more scene as visual intimidation tools of the military.

The problem is that we got used to the extremely effective Clone Troopers from the PT and from the TV series. And the surviving Clone Troops looked on the Storm Troopers as inferior and poorly trained.

Its why the First Order Troopers were such a surprise because they moved like troops took cover and could hit stuff.

I would have liked to have seen more from the Purge Troopers, or to see some Imperial Commandos.

BTW interesting tidbit. The homeless clone trooper vet was wearing the armor coverings of the 501st which was Anakin's unit in the Clone Wars and who had been a part of the assault on the Jedi Temple.

I didn't mind the conversation between Reva and Obi-Wan. The whole people over hearing didn't really occur to me at all.
