I don't think people took "High River" literally enough when they moved there. It routinely earns its name.

A berm was built around the town that was 3 metres higher than the flood levels of 2013. Plus the river flow is supposed to peak at between 300-400 CMS by Tuesday night. Now compare that to 2013 where the river flow was 1,830 CMS. We will be fine.
