It kind of is. Do you think anyone new is going to be charged due to these? Are hearts and minds going to be changed and affect the outcome of the midterms? Doubt it.
Yes of course they should happen but expecting them to provide any sort of tangible results is silly. You’ll likely get some stiff finger wagging and a few tut tuts but expecting anything else out of this ignores the current political climate in the US.
