Banning sales and getting every AR off the street and out of the hands of the public would be a start but would have little to no effect on gun culture, mass shootings ect.. Of the 380 million guns in the US it is estimated there are 20- 30 million AR's, less than 10%. Every AR could be confiscated tomorrow and the mass shootings would still occur. NOT SAYING THEY SHOULDN'T BE BANNED AND CONFISCATED, but this is not the solution.
