I haven't missed a game since 2008. I think these two are good regular season players but that's alot of money for a long time for 2 players that have hard time posting 2 consistent High end playing seasons back to back. Happy to have them back but I think half way thru those contracts will look ugly and hard to keep guys like Lindholm 2 years from now.
Don't we mock Edmonton for doing the exact same thing? Arguably they have the 2 better players too. That kind of money tied up is exactly why they have to play McDavid and Drysaddle so much because they can't afford the rest of the team they need . Flames have to pay almost McDavid money for JG too stay not 12 but 10 ain't far off. Tkachuk is probably going to get more than Drysaddle ....
