I wonder if Kylington's struggles without Tanev were more about Kylington's inability to cover for Stone than anything that Kylington was doing wrong. Having a partner (Tanev) that never makes mistakes must be great for the growth of a young player.

I don't think it was an inability to cover for Stone. Kylington made a lot of unforced errors.
