if you are speaking about mental illness, that is correct - other western democracies (and non western democracies) have similar challenges with mental health...

The contention has been that the access to guns makes it easier for those with mental illness (or those just with grievances) to act out on those frustrations....Compare that to a bow and arrow attack in Norway or an Axe attack in Germany or machete attack in China...

Mental health issues are everywhere. Virtually unrestricted access to guns is not.
