Regarding Woodcroft: his best players played well, and the other team's goalie sucked - what a fricking genius!
I agree that Sutter was too stubborn though. However, that is his style - stick with his guys and let them work it out.
But saying Woodcroft did anything particularly praise-worthy, well I didn't see much. What I did see though, was him standing on the bench, staring into space like a deer in the headlights, when the Flames were destroying them in the first period of game 1. He would not have been able to spell his name if someone had asked him, at that point.
