I'm not saying the woke elements were a bad thing. The people that wrote the story clearly hate the human race so it seems like the woke elements were more token than sincere. I don't care if characters are white, black, straight, gay as long as the story is engaging. This story was simply joyless and sapped the fun out of what is technically a very good game.
