Hanifin had a great year and the entire team pooped the bed against Edmonton. Just a fair reminder that Hanifin is younger than Andersson and they make up a pretty great top 2 d pairing .
With guys that young you don't cut bait . You allow their continued development to carry on. This year was real time real world experience and they'll learn from it.
As far as the D goes on the Flames, they have to decide who their fillers will be because I think they're pretty happy overall with the youth (Andersson, Hanifin, Kylington) and Tanev.
It'll be up to Zads and Gud who gets replaced and with whom. Do they pull some kids from the farm? Did Stone earn a more full time role?
