Yeah, if we're to keep Johnny I'd expect the total value to land somewhere right around $88M over 8 years. Ditto with Tkachuk if we're going to get him locked in long-term. Which when we look at it is still well below where top players were once paid (Iggy eating up 17.95% of the cap in 05/06). It's pretty easy to see how Johnny could eclipse $90M though...$11.25M AAV? He's worth it.
