Sharks got rid of Kane's contract on trumped up charges that were never substantiated and used that money to extend a key core player.
Flames should be playing dirty too.
If Lucic wants to retire, but still wants his money, the more realistic scenario that will happen is he goes on LTIR though.

With Treliving running things, I don't think the Flames have ever done anything that is even close to the line of "playing dirty". As an organization under Treliving, it seems like the Flames have consistently operated by the rules, not taking advantages of any gray areas. I'm actually okay with them continuing to run the organization this way.
