Potential steals out there... Shane Pinto, Vitali Kravtsov, Filip Zadina, Grigori Denisenko... those guys jump off the page as being older prospects that have the ability but have not put it all together. The idea of looking for a pick plus one of these players added would be an enticing prospect.
Not 1C material, but all of them are potential top six.

Barzal was viewed as a disappointment in NYI this year in a lot of circles. He only tied Brock Nelson on his own team in points. Second lowest PPG in his career at just over .8. A lot has to do with not ideal wingers though. He'd sure be a great 2C here. And if Lindy's production fell off they'd be a good 1-2 punch. He's an RFA with arb rights after this year though.
Really, everyone in NYI had an off year.
