He is ahead of schedule, and the surgery is on the other hip. I don't think that he spends any time on LTIR, but it does take anywhere from six months to a year to relearn the muscle memory from a hip injury. It controls movement from your core to your legs.
Since he has gone through this once before, I could see the movement coming back to him on the lower end of the scale, and since he is ahead of schedule I'm optimistic that there is a chance of seeing vintage Monny hockey after the All-star break.
Tanev will likely spend up to two months on LTIR, though.
