Yup, all about emotional engagement but at the time in game 3 that seemed tacked on after Game 2 settled it with Klinberg.
That top line was a well oiled machine all regular seasons with set plays, touch passes and skilled stuff, but only works if you're 100%.
Now, Tkachuk could obviously still shoot etc so it wasn't critical, but he wasn't 100%.
That didn't help in the Oilers series and the mental aspect of being injured creeps in too and that top line seemed to be out of sorts with JG and EL on an island of their own.
Not sure how Tanev played with dislocated shoulder. Any time he lifted his arm above his waist in 3 games it could've popped out again.
Kylington and his shakiness is to blame for that too on the game 6 goal where Tanev had to attempt in vain to cover for him.
Zadorov tough as nails too.
