Brakes might be a little high on the labour side.. Parts are right i just replaced the rear brakes on my 03 ML500 2 weeks ago...

Water pump.. Depending on when you vehicle went into service it might be covered under the 5 year 120k powertrain warranty.

Plugs are right.. there are 12 spark plugs in that engine and they are a pain in the but to replace.. But once done shoudl be good for another 5 years.

Fuel filter is a maintence thing that should be done every few years.. If possible try to check when it was last done. if within the last 24 months don't bother.

Would need more info on the defrost thing.
