We should be playing tomorrow night, no question.

Probably pointless, actually almost certainly pointless, but could the Flames have challenged? Don't get the logisitics here because the call on the ice was a goal. Oilers didn't challenge. How did the league get involved then?
I realize the same guys reviewing the initial call, however initiated, are reviewing the challenge call...maybe there should be two independent reviewers one for getting the initial call on the ice right (and in this case, who made the decision here) and another one for the challenge.
Yes I realize a penalty would be called if Flames lost challenge, but chances are anyone outside of the group think going on in the league office, scared ####less so telling the other 3 to agree so they can say it was unamimous, would've used common sense and ruled in the Flames favour.
But like the Kane salary cap and contract situation, league very happy to sweep things under the rug and move on. If there is another kicking motion goal in the playoffs, the league will be ####ting bricks on how to handle it.
And there will be some modification in the offseason to the rule, almost certainly.
