The federal government needs to do something using the IRS to tax the crap out of bullets and guns in the states. I'm sure Biden can use executive powers like that moron Trump did. If they used a program to raise the the drinking age to 21 across every state a long time ago, surely they can do something here. Make gun users have insurance. Cancel the export permits for every gun manufacturer in the US. Change regulations like they did for planes after 9/11. Negotiate border security with GOP for internal security. Throw anything at the wall and see what sticks.

Just do something to reduce the gun owning epidemic and gun using epidemic in the states.
Fiscal conservativism has been a myth in North America for a long time. Look at Alberta we had to elect socialists to get a whiff of fiscal responsibility beyond a 6 month horizon, and all we did is complain that they wanted us to pay for the things we wanted, and sent $1.5B pipeline boy to replace them.
