Well said and something I noticed too. And of those 6 calls, 2 were taking Flames out of a scrum. Then Nurse wraps his stick around Toffolis neck after a goal where he's going by his own bench to celebrate, completely unnecessary, Tkachuk comes and pushes him away, 4 on 4, gee I wonder who that benefits (of course McD scores in the following 2 minutes). An instant where you can literally take one guy for starting something completely unnecessarily on a play after a goal, not a scrum in the crease and you make it 4 on 4.

I know an agenda when I see one. Knew right then and there they weren't going to let this series go how it was looking to naturally go early on. I was really disappointed to see it go that way, then resigned myself to the BS sure to follow.

The sad part is somebody should tell the league, especially after the no goal last night, that McDavid doesn't need your help, he can win the game on his own merit.

All things being equal, maybe the Flames still lose it. McDavid was unreal, but it should've been in 6 games minimum, maybe 7 (if game 2 isn't meddled with).

Agreed, hell they might have still lost last night with the way they blew leads, the Oilers played better then us and capitalized on their chances, but to make that REVERSAL, not even going with the call on the ice, and not looking at the play as a whole:

1. skate colliding with Smith
2. one foot on the ice
3. with an Oiler on his back
4. skating full speed and going hard to the net
5. skate doesn't leave the ice
6. he never swings his foot
7. the puck is going in anyway

It literally boggles my mind how they can not use common sense and follow the verbiage of their own rules. Common sense fails again.
