Realistically, if Gaudreau walks, the Flames should absolutely do nothing else but tank.
You can't replace that, especially when it likely means it will be even harder to retain Tkachuk long-term without him.
Look at the caliber of players leading the playoffs right now. You need high picks to get these types of players consistently.
