Yesterday afternoon I went to pick up the vehicle and I thought I would do the route in reverse and as fate would have it, I was fighting the wind down the canal again. I wound up cutting the ride short and bailed at 52nd as I did not ahve the legs to fight the wind again.

I have no stats, but it sure feels like it has been a breezy start to the 2022 cycling season with many days featuring a good breeze and I feel that I have yet to really have it at my back for a long stretch
How is the canal? Last year I did it on my road bike and I hated every mile as all the canal cement blocks gaps and tree trunks spreading into the pavement were a spine-jarring ride all the way.
