Even if the team ends it's season on a disappointing note it's hard to imagine him being let go. That said this season was kind of an all-in season and they didn't get the playoff results (if they don't win 3 in a row) and it's very possible the roster next season is not as good and if Johnny leaves significantly worse. I would imagine he is tied to Darryl Sutter now and how Darryl's last season as head coach goes will play a big role in Treliving's future with the team.
