I mean your not wrong in that a lot of the hyper NRA style militia type may be on the right. The right side of the politics may be blocking some of the common sense reforms that could at least slow some of the rot from the US mass shootings.
I look at the USA as having an incredibly violent culture and background and being totally OK with gun crime across the board. Small conservative towns, small liberal towns, large cities on both sides. It's a **** sandwich all around.
The level of gun crime that happens literally by the minute all over America is just nuts. Most countries can't even process it. Forget the deaths, the level of actually shootings, wither they hit their intended target or not is wild. The volume of people who suffer gun shot wounds and life altering injuries just perplexes me.
It just doesn't help solve the actual issues when it's just finger pointing between the political sides as I find the odor comes all over.
