Its all mental, from the midway point of game one.
When the Flames had their wits about them it was 5-1 and 6-2 and not even competitive.
Goaltending cratering made the Flames crater in their style and composure. But they had the Oilers in a chokehold prior to that.
Even their fans thought they were getting swept by us early on.
Just have to get back to it. They have the capability to take it to these guys. They just haven't for 2 games, and that's most because of themselves.
But first they have to get back to "it", playing the way that wins games, and from that point on, its about just sticking with it.
Don't know why on earth you'd play scared of these guys. Kane looked like a minor league call up in game one. That's how insignificant the Flames can make him in the game if they play their game. Then last game he had a hatty. That's how good they can make him look when they don't play their game.
Its all up to them whether they allow the Oilers to get by them or not, cause by default they're the better team.
