I've seen this from the Flames before and I'll see it again.
They needed this.
I said it before and i know it'll need to be said again.
The between the ears thing is a work in progress and Darryl has had a subtle way of saying it several times.
It's like having kids....boys specifically. They get in trouble sometimes and usually you tell them but they don't listen the first few dozen times .
And then comes the AHA moment . Oh, Darryls right....I heard him say _____ (sounded like Charlie Browns teacher) but the bits and pieces I heard must have been right because here we are.
Long story short. Sometimes lessons are painful . Sometimes you learn right away. Sometimes it takes a bit more to learn that lesson.
Maybe not for this message board but you gotta let them learn the hard way before you ask em....how did that turn out for you?
I'm truthfully hoping this is a very short lesson otherwise .....well use your imagination.
