This is 100% on the team, not on Marky. They failed to show up and they didn't respond to Edmonton's pace or pressure. It was an abysmal effort and Markstrom held them in it for the longest time.

It is on the team in front, but confidence and momentum are a thing.
Getting a reset in net sometimes stabilizes the team in front, and can change momentum.
It's not about Markstrom sucking, but about getting the Flames to hit reset and get back to basics. Feeling like you have a fresh set of eyes between the pipes can give you a renewed sense of confidence, too.
Fact remains they played better in front of Vladar.
