They have known this since before the series started, but they are having a really difficult time sticking to it. I just don't know how they can apply their physical game and still avoid penalties, because the minute you make the Oilers flinch, you get a penalty.
Hopefully Markstrom can lock it down, because I think the best hope is to just run and gun against the Oilers. The Flames have the better goaltending and defense on paper, and can roll 4 lines in a way the Oilers can only dream of, but McDavid and Draisaitl are guaranteed several high quality scoring chances.
